In cooperation with Jan Horn and Patriots for Prague 8 we had the water from the spring analysed. The water itself is pretty good quality, but unfortunately there is a contamination of coliform bacteria and e. coli from an unknown source, which indicates a presence of cesspool somewhere up hill from the spring. The rate of contamination is not extreme, but still it is not recommended to drink the water without boiling it first. We continue in our effort to ensure the quality and contaminant free water from the spring.
Further more there is an effort to make a more permanent solution to the stabilization and visual of the spring, the current solution is temporary and will not hold for long term. We reached out to an architect who prepared several suggestions for the new look of the spring. What do you think?
